The Hub is a new community center for Sunnydale and the surrounding Visitacion Valley area that will bring new amenities and services to this welcoming and vibrant neighborhood. Located along Sunnydale Avenue near Hahn Street, the Hub will be an inclusive and family-friendly center where people can play, eat, shop, and learn together. The Hub will include a childcare center, a Boys & Girls Clubhouse, a kitchen, a recording studio, and more!

Located just north of the Community Center will be a brand new Recreation Center with indoor and outdoor recreation facilities. Built in partnership with San Franciso Recreation and Park Department, the Herz Recreation Center will include 11,500 square feet of indoor space including a full-sized basketball court, bleachers, a multi-purpose room, and an outdoor fitness terrace. The development plan at Sunnydale includes a range of neighborhood-serving retail spaces, providing places to eat, shop, and meet daily needs. Plans include a neighborhood grocer, restaurant or café, and space for local entrepreneurs.
